What is your return policy?

Thanks so much for your question! The difference between the ANCORE Pro and ANCORE is the ANCORE is the original debut product, composed of fiberglass housing and a friction ring on the entrance of the cable. The ANCORE is perfect for home gym users and clinic practices. 

The ANCORE Pro is our second-generation model that took into the feedback from professional organizations and sports performance facilities. The roller guidance system allows a buttery smooth cable training experience along with the machined metal plate for increased durability. Click here to watch a video and learn more.

ANCORE or ANCORE Pro?

Great question! We offer four different mounts: the Rack Mount, the Strap Mount, the Sliding Track Mount, and the Wall-Mount. Here's a little bit about each mount.

Strap Mount - Included in every order, the Strap Mount is perfect for going between a variety of different fixtures, including poles, posts, trees, and squat racks. 

Rack Mount - A bespoke mount for your squat rack that attaches via rod and spring-locking knob. 

Sliding Track Mount - The Sliding Track Mount is one of our permanent mounts and is designed to go into a wood stud. The mount provides infinite adjustability and features a sleek design. 

Wall Mount - The  Wall Mount is the perfect mounting option for the athlete or facility that will be using their ANCORE in the same spot. A combination of more than one wall mount can provide excellent height variability for multiple movements.

Which mount should I pick?

Most customers say the training experience is similar in feeling to a pneumatic system. This is because the resistance mechanism of the ANCORE is not dependent on gravity and allows for high-speed, ballistic movements as well as slower, more controlled movements. It is not a fly-wheel or inertial-based system.

How does the resistance experience feel?

The ANCORE and ANCORE Pro use resistance measured in a 1:1 ratio, so the resistance on the plates is equal to what you'd experience during a workout. This is unlike traditional cable machines, which are designed at 2:1 or 4:1 ratios using pulleys or levers to achieve a mechanical advantage. So, the 65 lbs 1:1 maximum resistance on the ANCORE/ANCORE Pro would be equal to 130 lbs on a traditional 2:1 cable machine.

How does this compare to a gym's cable machine?
