Group Training with Your Data PlateUpdated 10 days ago

Train with up to 3 people total (including yourself) using one Data Plate! Everyone gets their own data tracked separately.

Two Ways to Train Together

Each person gets their own account and keeps all their data.

What you need:

  • Everyone downloads the FLEX Stronger app and creates an account
  • All profiles set to "public"
  • You're connected as friends in the app

Option 2: Guest Mode (Quick Start)

Perfect when you're in a rush - your friend can set up their account later and claim their data.

Setting Up Group Training

Step 1: Get Everyone Connected

  1. Have everyone download the FLEX Stronger app (search "FLEX Stronger" in the App Store/Play Store)
  2. Make profiles public: Go to Profile → My Account Info → Make My Profile Public → Turn ON
  3. Add friends: Go to Community → Add/Manage → Search for your friend's name → Tap FOLLOW
  4. Accept friend requests: Your friend needs to accept the follow request in their Community section

Step 2: Start Your Group Session

  1. Open the FLEX app and tap "TRAIN"
  2. Tap the Buddy icon at the top right of the screen
  3. Select your training partners (up to 2 friends) - they'll show a blue buddy icon when selected
  4. Tap "DONE"
  5. Choose your exercise just like a regular workout
  6. Make sure your Data Plate is connected

Step 3: Switch Between Participants

  • Tap the profile name/icon at the top of the screen to switch who's currently lifting
  • The Data Plate automatically tracks each person's reps separately
  • Everyone gets their own results saved to their account

Main Menu → TRAIN → Buddy Icon → Select Friends → Choose Exercise → Switch between lifters by tapping profile icons
