Your First Exercises with the Data PlateUpdated 8 days ago

Ready to see what your Data Plate can do? Let's walk through your first tracked lift.

Getting Started

  1. Make sure your Data Plate is connected to your phone (you'll see the battery icon in the top left)
  2. Load your ANCORE/ANCORE Pro with your desired resistance.
  3. Attach your Data Plate if it's not already on your ANCORE/ANCORE Pro.

Set Up Your Workout

  1. Open the FLEX app and tap the "TRAIN" button
  2. Choose your exercise - start typing the exercise name and select it from the list
  3. Enter your weight- tap the "0kg" button and set your resistance amount. 
    1. Remember, the ANCORE/ANCORE Pro has 5 lbs of resistance in the base AND the Data Plate does not add any resistance. 
  4. Set a rest timer (optional) - tap "0:00" if you want a countdown between sets

Choose What You Want to See

  1. Pick your view- swipe left or right to choose what data you want to display:
    • Velocity (m/s) - how fast you're moving the bar
    • Power (watts) - your power output

Start Training!

  1. Wake up your Data Plate - give the ANCORE/ANCORE Pro a small pull to activate it (it stays active for 5 seconds, then goes to sleep to save battery)
  2. Perform your exercise - the Data Plate automatically tracks each rep
  3. Return the cable to the ANCORE/ANCORE Pro unit - the app will automatically end the set and show your results

After Your Set

Once you return the cable to the ANCORE/ANCORE Pro unit, you can:

  • Edit your set - remove reps or change the weight if needed
  • Review your last set - see detailed data from your previous set
  • Start your next set - jump right into the next one
  • Change exercises - switch to a different movement
  • End your session - finish your workout
